In the enchanting realm of fashion, destiny beckoned when I was just 13. Inspired by the allure of the red carpet and the timeless elegance of Marilyn Monroe, Naomie Campbell, I started wondering who was beihind the making of the clothes. I began sketching whimsical designs that danced in my dreams. I found Donatella Versace, Donna Karan, Lisa Folawiyo. As the biggest names in the industry, Fashion chose me —it became my calling, my muse, and my ultimate form of self-expression.
From those early dreams of partaking in the fashion industry to clothes that I am proud to see on clients and modeling for the last collection Infaransa by Moshions today, my journey as a fashion designer has been one of discovery, growth, and unwavering dedication doubled by heartbreaks and a need to live in my passion, embarking the rest of the world with me.

AKANYUZI means a thread in Kirundi. Each piece of clothing starts with one thread that becomes a fabric and gets cut out into what was, at first just an idea in the head of the designer. The same idea is true with our philosophy, what we are building and the core ethic of the brand. More than just creating clothes, we love a cloth that has a positive impact in the society from.
